While BMW puts out models designed to be each segment’s “Ultimate Driving Machine,” there are some that check more boxes than others. For enthusiasts, a car that’s fast, breaks down barriers, while offering a handling and cornering experience that makes the heart race is paramount. Recently, Autoblog put out an article discussing why the new M2 checks those boxes.
As the entry level model in BMW’s M Performance portfolio, one could reasonably expect the Bavarian automaker to cut corners. This, however, is far from the case. Although it sports 365 horsepower to the 425 found in the M3/M4, its unique blend of chassis balance and suspension tuning negates the need for those extra horses.
