Porsche decided to use a different stage than usual to unveil its new high-powered sports car. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) became the place for Porsche to show the public its 911 GT2 RS. This announcement came at the same time that a videogame featuring the vehicle was shown.
Although E3 is largely focused on upcoming videogame news, technology, and releases, it is becoming more popular for car reveals to come from these expos rather than the car-specific expos.
The GT2 RS is certainly powerful with its nearly 700-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine. Little else is known about the GT2 RS, but based solely on the power plant and design, it is shaping up to be an impressive vehicle.
