Home-Charger Credit
A federal credit may still apply to qualifying home EV-charging equipment placed in service by June 30, 2026. The residence must be located in an eligible low-income or non-urban census tract, and other requirements apply.
Vehicle-Loan Interest Deduction
Through 2028, eligible taxpayers may deduct up to $10,000 per year in qualified interest on certain loans used to purchase new, personal-use vehicles with final assembly in the United States. Income limits and additional loan and vehicle requirements apply.
Wisconsin and Utility Programs
Wisconsin does not currently offer a statewide EV purchase rebate, although some utilities may offer charging programs, special electricity rates, or charger-related incentives. Availability depends on the customer's utility and location.
